20-story tower in downtown San Francisco

Modern office tower on small infill lot in San Francisco’s South Financial District

KTA designed this 20-story, 216 foot tower with 49,300 square feet of office space and 10,500 square feet of residential space. The small office floor size (approximately 3,750 square feet per floor) is ideally suited for small businesses that desire the advantage of full floor identity and spectacular views of Downtown and the Bay Bridge.

The design juxtaposes strong verticals counterbalanced by horizontal elements for a dynamic yet harmonious whole. The site is in San Francisco’s South Financial District, near the new Transbay Transit Center, an active neighborhood with a mix of new residential high-rises, new mixed-use mid-rises, turn of the century brick buildings and renovated 1920’s concrete warehouses. The project was unanimously approved on the first vote by the San Francisco Planning Commission and awaits construction financing.
